Star Trek Discovery has been cancelled, and Picard is in its final season. Chris Pine, who the filmmakers took great delight in emasculating in Dungeouns and Dragons Honor Among thieves, has publicly stated that he has long since accepted that he will never play Captain Kirk again, thus signaling the end of this era of Star Trek, both on the big and on the small screen. This then invites the obvious question, what comes next for Star Trek?
