This Penny's quest focuses on the CORE plant Peashooter and was offered between between March 15, 2023 and March 22, 2023.

Peashooter is a member of the Appease-Mint family.
Peashooter costs 100 Sun. (-25 Sun at levels 5, 13 and 18.)
Peashooter shoots a pea which deals 10 damage. (+5 per level.)
When given plant food, Peashooter fire 60 peas.

Commentary:
The humble Peashooter gets a turn in the spotlight. The first plant that players receive. For those that are new to the game, this is an excellent week to level up this plant and grab a lot of seed packets.

Bottom Line:
It's quite easy to hate on Peashooter. Many players would say this is the worst main offensive plant in the game. Many players are planning on skipping Penny's Pursuit this week. While Penny this week does feature an under-powered plant, the Zomboss is fairly easy. Players who are new to the game can gain a lot of seeds and gain 5-6 levels of Peashooter. This would make Peashooter more respectable as well as jump-start a few other plants.

I do not get a preview of Penny's Pursuit before it is released. So what you see is what players get.

I also try to vary the strategies from week to week and showcasing different plants and strategies and ideas. Using the same strategy week after week would be boring to see.
