Twenty percent of children report hearing voices.

It’s been reported that 21-23% of younger adolescents, aged from 11-13, had experienced auditory hallucinations.

But this auditory sensitivity seems to fizzle over time and with age. Only about 7% of older children from 13-16 claimed to hear voices. Of those, though, nearly 80% of them had a psychological diagnosis.

It really begs the question:
