In both cases I think the credibility of your sermon would be solely dependent (pardon the pun) your status in the tribe or my own level of admiration ergo had i conceded you the Spot of alpha in our relations. Now if your lectures are only for the devout follower. Well do you really have to be right at all? Cultists in definition are willing to suspend belief to the Cannons of the cult.

If your intent is for the average man to enlighten them as to some Greater awareness of the universe and its workings, Dude You fail in that endeavor miserable. Even if you have solved the question of a theory of everything.

Your basically saying that atheists are disconnected from the fundamental essence of existence. Which is Impossible. That’s like saying a gas cloud is less real than a planet. Your Implying a parameter exists in ones personal psychology that in its nature makes its physical structure different as it effects and interacts with particles and energy’s and forces of nature. Ergo the universe and God. A Flash light interacts with reality as a source of light, so do stars. Stars effect reality in a far more complex and highly more energetic way but that does not make the light coming from the flashlight less real.
