5 Short animal memes, showcasing the wonderful world of nature. Although they aren't human, we can sometimes relate to these creatures, and even see some comedy in them from time to time if we pay attention. In this first mini-meme series we see a hairy hoverfly that is hovering right on top of the ground as if it is scratching (perhaps laying eggs, or not?), a tiny bug that fearlessly approaches a giant-to it-damselfly that is currently munching on a snack, half dangling from its mouth, which is also much larger than the fearless bug (maybe it is coming to rescue its friend before it is completely devoured, or just send a message to the next damselfly that "this behavior will not be tolerated!), a butterfly with wings so tattered it's crazy to think it could even still fly (fly 'er 'til the WINGS fall off), a group of mosquito larvae/pupae that dance/squirm/wriggle about in preparation for that maiden voyage/flight straight to an arm/leg/neck/face near YOU!, and a seemingly very cautious Downy Woodpecker that checks every-which-way for a threat that never seems to show up (or maybe it is just looking for the next spot to strike).
