Gun Control Omnibus #MNLEG

As we anticipated, the Democrats have included gun control proposals in their public safety omnibus proposal. This ties gun control measures into $4 BILLION of funding for courts, law enforcement, corrections fire, and other public safety/judiciary measures.

It includes universal background checks, red flags, mandatory reporting of lost/stolen guns, all of which were heard in the MN House, but not the Senate.

It also includes measures that have had no committee hearings, magazine limits and raising the age for handguns and sporting rifles to 21.
