In Clarenville, Newfoundland and Labrador, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Premier Andrew Furey announce their governments have implemented their $10-a-day child-care agreement in the province, three years ahead of the national target to have the system in place across the country.
They are joined by Gudie Hutchings (federal minister of rural economic development and MP for Long Range Mountains), John Haggie (provincial minister of education and MHA for Gander), and Churence Rogers (MP for Bonavista–Burin–Trinity).
