In North York, Ont., Marco Mendicino, public safety minister and MP for Eglinton–Lawrence, announces federal funding for research in aging and brain health. He is joined by Ya’ara Saks, MP for York Centre, Allison Sekuler, president and chief scientist of the Centre for Aging and Brain Health Innovation, and Adriana Shnall, program director of the Koschitzky Centre for Innovations in Caregiving.
Responding to questions from reporters, Mendicino comments on the government’s response to the proliferation of 3D-printed firearms in Canada.
