American Gospel Singer, Travis Greene Reacts As House On The Rock Drummer Dies During Church Service.
American gospel musician, Travis Greene has offered condolence to clergyman, Paul Adefarasin following the death of Chris Okafor, a drummer at his church.
Adefarasin, the senior pastor of the House on the Rock church, confirmed via Instagram on Monday that Chris slumped during church service the previous day and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Sharing Chris’ photo, Paul Adefarasin wrote,
“We lost one of our own, and our hearts ache for a young man who died in his prime.
Chris Okafor was full of life, his understanding of music and how beats make your worship experience so much better is a talent that he will be remembered for. Chris served with us in the music ministry arm of HOTR for over 12 years, and while serving, on Sunday, he slumped and was immediately rushed to our in-suite clinic for first aid before being rushed to the hospital.
Since the news of his passing, we have been reflecting on the moments we had with him. We were so proud of all that he had achieved and we knew that he had so much more to manifest as a son of God.
To his wife, Destiny, and life partner, we put our arms around you, knowing that you hurt so deeply. However, be assured that you are not alone, and we will get through this together. To Papa, his aged Dad, who must feel the void so deeply, we commiserate; we hope that the memories of Chris will be a constant reminder of his purpose here on earth.
I want to specially acknowledge the arm of the family to which he belonged, the LMGC. Moments like this make us stronger, so let us stand in God’s unfailing promise, that though the night may come, joy awaits in the morning.
Chris, you lived a fulfilling life. Rest in the bosom of our Lord. We pray that God will keep everyone that you have left behind. We will miss you on this side.
Till we meet again…
Chris Okafor

Reacting to the post, American gospel singer Travis Greene, who has performed at House on the Rock’s annual worship concert, The Experience, wrote, “Prayers up for you all.”
