2 big misses before the 5 lb bass (2 Strikes and a homerun)

While kayak fishing one of the local canals, I started the day by quickly catching 3 bass. The largest of which was a decent 2 lbs 9 oz fish. After catching 2 more bass over the next hour, I hooked 2 decent size (large) bass only to have them both throw the hook. I salvaged my pride by catching the 5 pound bass on my last cast of the day.
