Jakks Pacific Sonic the Hedgehog Death Egg Robot Playset

Today we open the huge Death Egg Robot. This playset it great. It looks exactly as it should. The articulation is not bad at all for what it is but it is limited. The arms and legs are a little loose and tend to fall out if there is a light breeze but it is a part of the gimmick. The little spin dashing sonic figure looks pretty good for the size and not being a full sized 2.5 figure. The launcher also does its job well. To reset the gimmick you use the bumpy edge below the teeth on the damage plate. If you slip you may end up with arms and legs everywhere. I had no trouble using the launcher to launch sonic in the the chest. It took a few tries but it was not difficult. I was not able to get his legs to pop off when i was exploding the robot but the arms launched really well. Before you give this to a child you will probably want to give it a wipe down. Mine had some kind of oil on it. This is a cool playset. Jakks Pacific is doing some great work with Sonic the Hedgehog right now and I am all in. I hope you enjoyed the video. Thank you for watching.
