CJ Tries Tattooing

CJ started building his tattoo collection in his early teens, so he knows his way around a tattoo shop. But does he know how to tattoo? We set up a station, handed CJ a fake arm, put a tattoo machine in his hands and told him good luck. As he tried to learn to tattoo we peppered him with a series of questions covering his early days in Staten Island, how becoming a father changed his life, his latest track "Gangsta," Sponge Bob Square Pants and so much more. All the while, CJ proved to us that he may have what it takes to give up music and open a tattoo shop of his own.

Celebrities Try Tattooing is our new series where we take a celebrity, give them a tattoo machine and see if they have what it takes to be a tattoo artists. All the while we discuss their lives, their tattoos and the career they've built for themselves.
