CNC Router Diamond Drag Engraving Anodised Aluminium

After a quick test on an old keyring, quickly diamond drag bit engraved this one for file. Just in case someone asks for it in future.

I noted on the original there was a couple of drag marks in the pocketed text, turns out in CAMBAM the spindle max stepover has to be set to zero when engraving like this.

Very small text on a part 50mm (2 inches) long so the camera shakes as the stepper motor changed direction at 1400mm per minute. Maybe could have slowed it right down.

Takes some getting used to, operating the CNC without the spindle moving.
