Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam was an Indian aerospace engineer, scientist and former President of India. He was known as the 'Missile Man of India' for his work on the development of ballistic missile and space rocket technology. He was also an inspirational speaker and a prolific writer, authoring several books, including India 2020 and Ignited Minds. He was an advocate for science and technology and an inspiration for the youth of India. He passed away on July 27, 2015.
