WASHINGTON, Feb 24 (Reuters) - The US this week will start handling individuals held in the Matamoros traveler camp at the Texas line for section into the country after the area was hit hard by serious climate, the Branch of Country Security said on Wednesday.

The camp, across the Rio Grande from Brownsville, Texas, is home to many transients, most from Focal America, wanting to be conceded asylum across the boundary. They have persevered through freezing temperatures over the course of the past week while living in shaky tents.
