Looks like it’s time for another Ellen Degeneres update because she seems to be singlehandedly keeping the real estate market going in Santa Barbara. Reportedly Ellen and her wife Portia De Rossi have recently paid $17.5 million for another historic estate in Montecito, California with views of the ocean and mountains, along with nearly 10,000 square feet of space. Built in 1930 the Spanish Revival style home was expanded shortly after and even nearly 100 years later, many of the mansion’s original details have lasted despite modern upgrades. Ellen and Portia’s stacked real estate portfolio is currently worth over $130 million and aside from this new spot, they own a $70 million compound in Carpinteria, a $29 million Bel Air abode, and three smaller but still multi-million-dollar homes also in Montecito, one of which is being sold.
