Camera boom arm design and build for YouTube

I had a creative project idea to design and build a camera boom arm for filming my YouTube Videos in my garage workshop. This DIY woodworking project goes through how I designed and built a 9’ long ceiling mounted camera boom arm that swivels, extends and retracts. It will allow me to film from any angle or direction without having to use a tripod.
