THE GOSPEL ISN'T CHANGING ME / Pastor Bob's Coffee Break

Dear Pastor Bob: I have a strong yearning to truly connect with God. I've asked the Holy Spirit to change my life... to change me... to quicken my heart. I've studied the Bible intensely... I've spent countless hours in prayer trying to hear what the Holy Spirit is saying to me. I've asked for prophetic words for other people. I even started a study group in church with the purpose of deepening the connection with God. And everyone in the group gets inner pictures, words, visions etc ... everyone but me. My life with The Holy Spirit is pretty Status Quo. I'm tired on the inside ... it's almost not fun to go to church anymore because I don't see the Gospel changing my life. What do you do when you ask God to truly move you ... to quicken your heart ... but your life doesn't change?
