RI GOP And Independents Warned Against Truck Tolls Now Struck Down By Federal Court - Democrat Governor McKee Spending Millions To Keep It On Life Support

Several years ago, Rhode Island House Republicans spoke passionately against implementing a trucks only tolling program citing legalities and complications of funds not going in the General Fund.

Democrats wanted to remove any obstacles and speed towards passage except for one brave Democrat, Karen Macbeth, who questioned the need.

Fast forward, program on pause and the while Democrat Governor McKee and state are contesting a ruling of truck tolling illegality from a Federal judge.
