It's a complete beginner Spanish course with an emphasis on medical Spanish terminology.  The good part is that students don't just memorize medical terms and try to piece together the rest but they actually learn the basic concepts of Spanish while they learn medical terms so that they know why they say what they say, can put together sentences on their own, and eventually flow.  The vocabulary covers both in the hospital and in a physician's office.  When putting the course together, I received input from a few different nurses from both settings, and yes, medicine is VERY broad:-), I update the vocabulary as needed or requested if a certain aspect of the industry isn't covered in the course.  As an example, I added a COVID-19 specific vocab lesson to the course when the whole outbreak occurred.  Let me know if you need any other information.
