The Brutal Murder & Humiliation Of El Rex | A Former Zeta Leader Butchered By Cartel Del Noreste

Luís Reyes Enríquez, aka "El Rex" or "Zeta 12", an original member of the ex-military group "Los Zetas", former armed wing of the Gulf Cartel, was stabbed to death in Nuevo Laredo prison in November of 2018 by suspected Cartel Del Noreste Members.

El Rex would brush shoulders with the likes of Heriberto Lazcano and Miguel Trevino Morales in the rise of arguably the most violent cartel in Mexican history, Los Zetas.
