Ancient ‘demonic’ temple with painted human remains found in Peru

The remains of a temple in Barranca, Peru were excavated by archaeologists from Jagiellonian University and the University of St. Mark.

Four mysterious mounds located on Cerro Colorado hill were identified as spots with potential archaeological significance. Upon further excavation by archaeologists from Jagiellonian University and the University of St. Mark, human remains and a large structure were discovered within the mounds.

According to Nauka W Polsce, the exploration project of the Barranca site commenced in 2022, and the discoveries were announced in February of the current year, the Jerusalem Post reported.

According to the accounts of Spanish explorer Antonio De La Calancha, who passed away in 1654, the area was said to be plagued by witchcraft.
