How to make custom sized router templates | Make repeatable and accurate cuts with your router

I needed to rout a small pickup cavity for this 3 string Cigar Box Guitar I'm working on and none of my pickup templates fit this little humbucker. I decided to create a new template that fits this pickup. I drew it out based on the measurements, and cut it out on the scrollsaw. After some filing and sanding I now have a custom sized template that will last a long time. Making templates like this is a great way to get accurate and repeatable results when routing cavities for your project.
