Luis Diaz stepping up training ahead of Liverpool return

Luis Diaz took part in an individual session before the main group came out to train. The Colombian winger has not played since October.

The Reds fly out to Madrid on Tuesday evening with the unenviable task of overturning a 5-2 deficit in the Santiago Bernabeu in the second instalment of the two-legged tie.

Liverpool raced into a 2-0 lead early in the first-leg at Anfield. But early joy was quickly distinguished as Real Madrid picked them apart, scoring five goals.
