This is the moment Oklahoma City cops arrest a suspect involved in a hit-and-run that left three emergency workers injured, including a police officer.

The hit-and-run incident reportedly took place as officers were investigating the scene of a previous car crash in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on 26th February.

While investigating the incident, a vehicle hit one of the officer's patrol cars, striking emergency personnel and injuring three individuals, including Officer Trista Fechner.

The suspect, later identified as Rafael Chay, 31, driving the car then fled the scene.

Officer Wallace Wyatt, who was present at the scene, chased the suspect vehicle on foot, and a responding officer picked him up.

The officers were able to track down the suspect vehicle to an apartment complex in the 1700-block of NW 46th Street.

With great investigative work, Officer Wyatt and other officers were able to determine where the driver lived and arrested Chay.

Chay was booked on several complaints, including driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs, leaving the scene of an injury accident, and causing injury without a valid driver's license.

Fortunately, the injuries sustained by the first responders were not serious, and they were treated and released from the hospital.
