Behemoth is a Large Monster in Monster Hunter World.
It is a powerful beast that can be found in the Elder's Recess and is known for its massive size and immense strength.
Behemoth is a formidable opponent that can prove to be a challenge for even the most experienced hunters.
It has a variety of attacks at its disposal, including physical attacks with its massive claws and horns, as well as the ability to cast stationary whirlwinds (Charybdis) and summon meteorites from the sky.

Ecliptic Meteor is a powerful attack that involves Behemoth summoning a meteor from the sky and crashing it down onto its enemies, as soon as it is defeated.
This attack is inspired by a similar attack used by the Behemoth enemy in the Final Fantasy series.
In the Final Fantasy series, Behemoth is a recurring enemy that appears in many of the games and is known for its massive size and strength, as well as its ability to use meteor-based attacks. The Behemoth in Monster Hunter World takes inspiration from the Behemoth in the Final Fantasy series, including its appearance and its use of the Ecliptic Meteor attack.
