How to smooth a rough cast iron pan | Make it stop sticking

As part of my cast iron cooking journey I'm on, I decided to see if I can sand a small pan to remove rough edges left by the casting. I used some 120 grit sandpaper on my random orbit sander followed up by some hand sanding to get it smoothed out. After the re-seasoning process this pan now works really well and is nonstick. I now feel ready to take on a full cast iron restoration. I'll keep an eye out for an old pan that needs a good restoring.
