Hogwarts Legacy has so many intricately detailed parts and incredible things to discover, but one amazing feature seems to be overlooked. There is so much to see and experience in Hogwarts Legacy , with incredible details big and small, that developers carefully added to what clearly has been a passion project for many of them, though one impressive detail is being left out of the discussion. The game has so much to offer players inside this incredible wizarding world that is rich with Harry Potter lore, it sends the imagination into overdrive as people get to immerse themselves in the environment that many have dreamed of for years. There is one really cool feature that sadly many may miss out on because of their love for the magic, which really is a shame. Hogwarts Legacy has so many things to do and game features that players may miss several of them, particularly on an initial playthrough. When flying there is a lot that can be missed on the ground because exploration by air can be very limited. The broom-flying mechanic which Hogwarts Legacy provides players is a dream come true for Harry Potter fans, but there is more than one way to travel. Hippogriffs Thestral Mounts In Hogwarts Legacy Are Incredible Many players in Hogwarts Legacy focus so much on the broom that they miss out on the hippogriff and thestral mounts in the game. The broom is generally more nimble, as well as faster to equip and get off the ground, however, the clumsy controls of the broom can cause players to be constantly banging into things if they try to fly low to the ground in exploration or while seeking treasure and puzzles. On the other hand, Hogwarts Legacy's flying mounts are much more adept at navigating lower altitudes, and provide a calmer experience. There Are Many Benefits To Using Animal Mounts Rather Than Brooms In Hogwarts Legacy The biggest benefit of using these beautiful flying mounts in Hogwarts Legacy is that when finding hidden treasure chests, interesting landmarks, or Easter eggs they are all tied into the layout of the roads and landscape. These levels have all been designed from the ground so when exploring an area, doing so from high in the air is very limiting. The hippogriff and other flying mounts can canter and sprint along the ground, making it much easier to explore the valleys than by flying on a broom. Anyone who struggles with motion sickness in games will appreciate that the camera pulls back when using flying mounts in Hogwarts Legacy, giving a wider field of view. Not only is this view lovely, but it the wind and rain effects, which can further aid with combating motion sickness. Hogwarts Legacy makes broomsticks and flying mounts both incredibly enjoyable experiences, and whichever a player prefers using will give them gorgeous scenery to see and fun flying mechanics to appreciate.
