Caitlin woods has returned home to care for her father, as he cannot afford the necessary care after suffering a stroke from a robbery. Her mother, who had passed away, loved candles, and Caitlin's favorite candle was stolen during the robbery, read "when you need to light your way, remember my love and let it sparkle for you that day".

During a walk, a thief snatches Caitlin's bag, prompting her to give chase into an abandoned building. They struggle before the place catches fire, causing the thief to run away.

The fire abruptly stops just as suddenly as it started. And Catlin is shocked to see her favorite candle that had been stolen during the invasion. Caitlin rejoins her worried father.

While giving the candle to her father, it drops and reveals a pouch with Caitlin's grandmother's diamond necklace. Her father reveals that he had been searching all over for it, as Caitlin's mother never revealed where she hid it before passing.

The necklace is appraised at $100,000, making it possible to hire qualified help to look after Caitlin's father.
