So we went to this quirky coffee shop the other day. They make all of these quirky cocktails with coffee and serve them in spooky cups.

And that surreal experience got me thinking…

How it’s still surreal that we’ve lived in Mexico for a year now and about to head to a new destination.

Sometimes it still feels surreal that we can just make our own schedule, choose a place we want to go to and then just go.

Seven years ago, this kind of lifestyle would have been impossible. I would have had to get approval to go anywhere and could only hope that Kristen would get time off exactly at the same time.

It would have been impossible to make lifestyle choices that are for us instead of for the big corporations we worked for.

And whilst not every day is a walk in the park, looking back, I am proud of those two scared employees (that’s us) who risked everything they knew in order to pursue something so much better.

Here’s to all entrepreneurs, even to those who are yet to make the move, I bow to you for making uncomfortable choices in life that lead you experience something far bigger than you could imagine…
