Northern Fleet frigate Admiral Gorshkov's helicopter pilots train to search for submarines in the Indian Ocean

🚁 The pilots made anti-submarine patrol flights throughout the crossing path, searched for submarines using regular radio equipment and an on-board hydroacoustic station, and set up obstacles made of hydroacoustic buoys.

◽️ The training of the pilots was of a planned nature. During the flights they also carried out aerial reconnaissance to reveal the air and surface conditions along the ships' route.
