In this video, we record our transactions for the day on MRVL. We sold a cash secured put and 4 covered calls collecting $270 premium in the process using a Think-Or-Swim (TOS) paper trading account.
This demonstrates the power of being able to play both sides (call and put side) increasing the premium collected each week with at least one side guaranteed to win since the stock price can only go one direction. It also has the added benefit of if the price of the stock is in a downtrend it'll lower our overall cost basis, aka dollar cost averaging the stock we want to own anyways... allowing us to sell At-The-Money options or as close to it as possible.
