Tabke pushes NEW school mandate ensuring schools will NEVER be "Fully Funded"

Would you support MN Dem Rep. Tabke on this Bill to increase school wages to a fixed $25/hour for ALL School Positions...? Rural MN schools would take an approxinate $10/hour increase that is completely out-of-touch with the jobs market and local pay scales. Where is the common sense?

Rep. Pam Altendorf has done the homework and Superintendents are AFRAID of the damage all of these Gov't Mandates will cause, as we go into other years and do NOT continue to have this unprecedented current $$$ surplus.

MN Dems testifiers, ALL ones who benefit from getting the $10/hour pay increase. Testifiers AGAINST this train-wreck of a bill were ALL people in positions of School Boards, Superintendents, Bus Driver Employer....In other words, the people behind the scenes who are actually crunching the numbers and understand their budget restraints.

Talking to Superintendents and Principals and School Board Members - the common theme is that the Government needs to TRUST THEM and GIVE MORE CONTROL LOCALLY TO THE SCHOOLS. Instead, MN Dems continue to present mandate-after-mandate, regulation-after-regulation. IF all of these bills presented, get passed into law this Legislative Session....? MN Schools will NEVER be Fully Funded as the money funding schools increases, so does the Democrats grip around the schools with more and More and MORE MANDATES!
