Monday was a pretty quiet day in Washington. I was supposed to catch Marine One's departure at the White House but a "bad weather" call was made that scrubbed the helicopters and led to a motorcade. I missed that due to traffic, but managed to see Air Force One soar overhead and into the clouds out by Andrews AFB. I then give you an update from the Cherry Blossoms near the Tidal Basin, before stumbling upon a suspicious package situation near the White House that closed down streets and brought out the bomb squad. Several propane tanks were found in a car, but judged to be harmless.
