Road Trip!!! Rio Grande to Rockbridge to visit RXR Winery

Been a while since we went anywhere. One of our favorite local winerys was OSR that was in Point Pleasent, WV. Great wines, great people and friendly atmosphere. In 2020 they shut down for a variety of reasons, but they hinted that something new was to come. Well it finally came. They relocated to Rockbridge and set up shop. Took them a while to get going but on 16 July 2022 they had the soft grand opening as an introduction to the area. Wife and I was not going to miss it. And we are so glad we didn't. I took the opportunity to try some of the new habanero wines and was not disappointed. even brought a bottle home.

If you are in the Athens, Logan, Rockbridge area off US 33, take a pause and grab a flight. You will love it! And let them know the Caveman sent you!
