Biden: Taxpayers won’t pay for SVB collapse, management to be fired

President Biden addressed the nation on concerns regarding the federal banking system in the wake of the Silicon Valley Bank collapse. Biden said the money to reimburse customers will come from the FDIC insurance fund, reiterating several times “no losses will be born by the taxpayers.” Biden added that SVB management will be fired and a full investigation will be held.
