President of Mexico says his country is “much safer” than the US

Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador: "Mexico is safer than the United States. There is no issue with traveling safely through Mexico.” López Obrador spoke about how the United States media doesn’t talk about the drug cartels in their own country.
