First grafting of pear tree with Whip/Tongue Grafting (P1)

March 12, two grafts were made on pear tree using the English Whip andTongue Grafting method.

We took the branch for the scions the same day from a neighboring pear tree.

Usually, we cut the grafting branches in the winter and keep them in the refrigerator door, at the bottom, until March and April when the grafting is done.

The video shows the grafting on the first lower shoot of the old cut pear tree.
