If you have been watching the market today, or checking main pages of your favorite news outlet, you would believe things are going fine despite all the worries over the last few days. The reality is that many regional banks have lost as much as 80% of their value over the course of the trading day. I don't know how the DOW and S&P are rising despite that, but they are. Trading has been halted on many of the struggling banks, and the bond market is going crazy.
