Black Is The Colour | Tribute to CJ

I was performing in the Fireside last year when a woman approached me and asked if I could play "Black is The Colour" by Christy Moore, I agreed and she asked if I could change the person in the song to a man. It didn't seem like a big deal until she said the song was for her son who tragically died when he was knocked down by a driver.

It took a lot of takes to get through this without breaking down. It's heartbreaking to see parents go through that kind of grief.

I recorded and uploaded the song on September 19th, 2022. I should have made it public sooner but was hesitant to because I didn't know how people would react.
