About Today's Guest: Kristan Hawkins
Kristan Hawkins is president of Students for Life of America and Students for Life Action. She is also an author, speaker, podcast host and human rights advocate. Kristan was recruited in 2006 to launch the full-time operation of Students for Life of America. Since then, she has built up what was once a small organization made up of a few dozen student groups around the country into a coordinated national team that serves over 1,200 Students for Life chapters in all fifty states. Kristan graduated from Bethany College in 2005, summa cum laude, with a B.S. in political science. A frequent speaker and media analyst, her expertise includes abortion, feminism, disability advocacy and healthcare, as she navigates the social conditions and policies that impact the human rights issues of our day. Kristan’s proudest accomplishments are being married to her husband, Jonathan, and raising their four children.
