Bespoke Moulding on a Spindle Moulder How to Make Architrave

A short video just to show the versatility of a spindle moulder. From a selection of cutters I am normally able to make up a moulding that is very close to the piece I'm matching without having to have a cutter made or grinding a new one from scratch. The process of moulding the piece needs thinking through from the start to ensure all the cuts are possible to make once you have cut away from the square stock with each pass. Mouldings like these require accuracy in the setup, so make sure your fences are perfectly parallel and true with each pass and remember to be safe and use a powerfeeder where possible to keep your hands away. It's advisable to not wear gloves when working machinery.
