Making Replacement Sashes - Part 3: Sash Window Restoration

In this video I am manufacturing the new sashes for the restoration of the sash cord window. I am using Accoya timber and making the sashes according to the details in parts 1 and 2 of the series. I am glazing these from the inside as they are double glazed and require a beading to hold the glass in place. I only glaze from the inside when using Accoya as I believe it is stable enough to keep weather tight, any other timber I would not!

I haven't shown it on the video but I also machined some 8mm X 27mm parting beads and have put a 1st coat of primer onto the sashes, ready for fitting so you will see this in part 4.

Hope you all enjoy the video and learn something from it, please comment if you have anything to add or wish to know anything else!
