Floating Shelves: Design Make and Installation

In this video, see how I make the floating shelves for my office, from design through to installation. I made a SketchUp Drawing of the room and designed the shelves in that then came up with a plan on how to make them. As you will see in the video, I have second thoughts and end up making the shelves a different way. I left this section in as a great idea one day isn't always that great after you've given it some time/thought and you should always be open to different techniques. I'm happy with how they turned out. Two full days to make and trial fit and then best part of a day to final finish and install, I'd say it was a three day job.
