She’s stronger than the rest
Races through life without a net
She’s tired, she ain’t scared
Balances her life in mid air

There’s clowns all around
It’s so hard to settle down
When that big tent comes in town
The spotlight hits the ground

She steps on the high wire
One more time
Wonders what she gave up
For her new little tin cup

When her feet touch the ground
He head stops spinning round
One tear flows down
In this tiny carnival town
