King of Capoeira of Coburg, Daniel Schmidt, is a world-renowned master of the Afro-Brazilian martial art of capoeira. Schmidt has performed and taught capoeira all over the world, including in Brazil, the United States, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, France, and the United Kingdom. Schmidt has also served as the artistic director of the Capoeira Angola Foundation, which promotes capoeira in Angola.
