Big Rigging on the Detroit River

This is a fun job from a couple of years ago in Windsor, Ontario, across the river from Detroit. I was subcontracting for Erik at Green Tree, taking down 3 massive Cottonwoods right on the waterfront. This is footage from the 2 larger trees. This is some monstrous rigging and masterful roping, I think you will enjoy it!

To learn more about tree work, please check out "The Fundamentals of General Tree Work 25th Anniversary Edition by G.F. Beranek", now available in paperback. It's the Bible of Tree Work. With over 400 photographs and illustrations, there simply is no more-complete reference on tree work theory and technique available. Simply put, if you work with trees and chainsaws, you need this book! Available here: https://amzn.to/3zjV12I
