16th Annual Fest of Tails Pooch Parade Sponsored by the San Antonio Parks Foundation #dogshow

This annual event was held in McAllister Park, just north of the San Antonio International Airport. It was sponsored by the San Antonio Parks Foundation and HEB. This video is of the pooch parade, where the dogs (and owners) were dressed up to participate. There were approximately 3 dozen entries in this free event this year. Temperature was in the high 80's at the time of the parade, so the owners were very careful to keep their dogs watered and let them rest in the shaded areas right after the parade.

This video was taken using a camera, instead of a drone, due to the close proximity to the animals and crowd of people. We didn't want to irritate the dogs' sensitive hearing nor risk accidentally flying over people. Unfortunately, this camera didn't have the EIS function activated, so the image is a bit jerkier than our normal production.
