Otters belong to the Mustelidae family. A family group that includes weasels, wolverines, and badgers and has the highest kill-per-attempt success rate of any mammalian predator.
You have very loose skin. Therefore, if they are attacked and grabbed, the predator cannot stop them from biting the predator since they are essentially twisted into their own skin.
