"My eyes are ever toward the Lord; for He shall pluck my feet out of the snare. Look Thou upon me and have mercy upon me, for I am alone and poor. To Thee, O Lord, have I lifted up my soul; in Thee, O God, I put my trust, let me not be ashamed." These are the aspirations we lift up through this week's Holy Sacrifice on the Third Sunday of Lent. They are the words of a soul desperate for the continual sustaining and healing mercy only the Messiah can offer. In this week's homily, Father Stanislaus exposits the meaning and unchanging desire of God is our salvation, being wrought from the Cross, and offered unceasingly by Him who bore the weight of our transgressions! Then, knowing our worldly needs and desires to see miracles, He points to the absolute saving words of His Good News and its example always before us: His Holy Mother, forever our Advocate, and Guide.
